GenCyber Camps
July 12-16
Girls who will be in grades 3 – 5 in fall 2021 are invited to apply our summer day camps! Camp will provide hands-on learning activities that will allow participants to learn cybersecurity vulnerabilities, cybercrime, and how attention to safe online behavior is crucial to their personal safety. Campers will be taught computer programming and guest speakers will introduce the campers to computing careers, with particular attention to cybersecurity.

Hattiesburg Parks and Recreation Summer Camp Program
Collaboration with Hattiesburg Public School District
June 1 – July 2
Grades: K – 7
In collaboration with the enrichment program, Hattiesburg Parks and Recreation will meet students at the following school locations to provide recreational and art activities from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. to ages K through 5th Grade: Thames, Woodley, Grace Christian, Rowan and Hawkins.
A program will also be available to students at Lille Burney for grades 6th & 7th, from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Camp is $35 per child. Parents/guardians can enroll each child at http://cityofhpr.siplay.com.
The Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp program will run concurrently with the Hattiesburg Public School District’s in-person summer enrichment program for K through 7th Grades. This program will focus on academics, arts, activities and achievement, with emphasis on preparing for the upcoming year.

The Racquet Club of Hattiesburg – Kids Tennis & Swim Camps
Children ages 5-12 are invited to attend the tennis and swim camp at The Racquet Club of Hattiesburg. Camps run from 9AM-12PM and include two hours of tennis (9AM-11AM) and one hour of pool time (11AM-12PM). Children may register to attend the camp for a day, week, or for the whole summer. Mississippi Aquarium Camp Aqua
Bayou Bound summer camp will take campers through the habitats surrounding our region. Campers will explore rivers, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Mississippi Sound: both in and out of the classroom. They will also explore the Aquarium’s various habitats, species, jobs, and facilities. The goal of Camp Aqua: Bayou Bound, is for campers to cultivate a deeper understanding of the waters that make up the Mississippi Sound, and begin to take action to conserve this local environment for future generations. Camp includes age-appropriate hands-on activities, readings, science experiments, exploration time in the Aquarium, crafts, camp t-shirt, daily lunch and snacks.
