Keep Waking Up in the Mourning

Jasmine Cochran
Author & Speaker
jasminecochran.com
Jasmine Cochran was living on the other side of the world when she learned her father had cancer, one of several illnesses that would plague him over the next year. The poster child for daddy’s girls, she hopped a plane as quickly as she could during the pandemic to come home to Mississippi to help take care of him.
During those months of illness, Jasmine interviewed her father to gather material to write a book about his eclectic life. During the process, he succumbed to his illnesses. Grief took over. The book had to wait.
Looking for anything therapeutic to pull her from the pit of grief, Jasmine picked up the book again. She would learn that continuing the story without her dad was like dealing with the pain of losing him: brutal, but not impossible.
In this session, the author of the memoir Keep Waking Up in the Mourning will share life lessons, tools, and raw insights that are helping navigate her way through grief and return to a life that would do justice to her father’s teachings.
Join Jasmine for this first event of the book’s release.

After helping more than 20 authors birth their literary dreams, Jasmine is finally giving life to her own. Visit jasminecochran.com for all the ways to like and follow her around the internet.
